PasserJack help
PasserJack on Android
Install the web app from Chrome to open your board from the Home Screen and send content from Android’s share menu.
Install and sign in
- In Chrome on your Android phone, open PasserJack.
- Open Chrome’s menu and choose Add to Home screen or Install app. Follow the installation prompt.
- Open the installed PasserJack app and sign in to the same Google account you use on your other devices.
This is the Chrome web app. A Google Play download is not required. A simple browser bookmark may not register PasserJack in the share menu.
Capture when the network is unavailable
After the installed app has loaded its offline shell while online, it can open a small text and file composer without the network. Android shares also wait locally for an account destination. A first-ever offline visit cannot install this shell.
These ordinary captures stay on this device in plaintext. The inbox holds up to 20 pending captures or 200 MB, with at most 10 files and 100 MB per capture including metadata. A storage error means the save did not finish; keep the original. Vault captures require an unlocked Vault and are not saved through this ordinary inbox.
When connected, open the local capture inbox, verify your account and confirm new captures. A capture already confirmed for another account waits for that account. Clearing site data or browser storage eviction can remove pending captures.
If PasserJack is missing or the send fails
Update Chrome, confirm you installed the web app, and open it once before trying the share menu again. Some source apps restrict which content they share.
If sharing requires sign-in, complete it and return to the local inbox to confirm the destination. If no local capture was saved, return to the source app and share again. Keep the original until you see the saved item.
An interrupted send keeps its pending copy and retry identity. Resolve the displayed limit or account error, then use Retry sending in the inbox. A saved receipt confirms completion; seeing the inbox open does not. You can also copy a link or text and paste it into the board.
